Alicia's Florals is a floral design company creating for Vancouver, BC and beyond. I specialize in weddings and floral installations and use only locally grown flowers in my designs. I love the natural beauty around me and this is reflected in my artistic floral creations. I am passionate about supporting the local flower farmers here in BC and strongly believe that doing my part to partner with them not only gives back to our community but also results in gorgeous unique, nature inspired creations. Alicia works out of her own home studio in the Fairview neighbourhood in Vancouver.
Alicia is a passionate floral artist who started her own business in 2016. She works tirelessly to improve her craft and sustainable practices in her work. She has built strong relationships with local farmers in the lower mainland, and visits the farms regularly to learn more about farming, flowers and those that grow them. Her wedding floral artistry aims to go beyond typical wedding florals, and blend the line between nature and the built space. She seeks to create movement with her work, embracing the natural curves in the outside world. She loves texture and playing with different colours to tell a story. The ethereal and perishable qualities of flowers challenge and intrigue her, as she works to make art with the technical challenges of working with living materials. She aims to capture a season and time in space with her work using locally grown flowers that reflect the season, and weather for that particular year, month, week and day.
