Although it feels like summertime is very far away (another season to be exact), I decided to blog this gorgeous August wedding from last summer. The wedding took place on the bride's uncle's beautiful farm near Island View beach. In consulting with Rachel, the bride, she had originally thought of all white flowers for the wedding, but after my encouragement, I added some subtle peach and blush tones for more depth and texture. I love how it all came together with the grey tones of the bridesmaid dresses and the outdoor setting. Along with the bouquets, boutonnieres and flower girl crowns, I also created the eucalyptus garland for the tables. Overall, it was one of my favourite weddings of the summer and Eva Cherneff Photography captured it so well. (https://www.evacherneffphotography.com/)
Since this wedding, the maid of honour passed away in a tragic car accident. She is remembered as a kind, loving and funny person who truly cared for others. In memory of Hannah.
Thank you again to Rachel + Nathan.
